David Moore

Dave has over two decades of leadership experience in the semiconductor industry. Dave served as Chief Strategy Officer at Micron Technology, Inc where he had group-wide accountability for a range of corporate functions. Immediately prior to Micron, he spent six years at Intel Corporation in a number of executive leadership roles, most latterly as General Manager of the Programmable Solutions Group where he led the multi-billion-dollar FPGA and Structured ASIC business on a global basis for the company. His experience before Intel includes senior engineering and business leadership positions in both the US and overseas. Dave has a BS in Electronic Engineering from University College Dublin, Ireland and a MS in Electronic Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia. Dave has lived in numerous countries and locations from coast to coast in the U.S. in addition to almost 4 years in S.E Asia in Malaysia and Vietnam.

Scott is an experienced serial entrepreneur, founding Pragmatic as his sixth technology venture. He was also a co-founder and board director at computer vision-based AI company Cortexica, acquired by Zebra Technologies. Past successes include Azea Networks, which he grew from concept to 8 figure sales levels before acquisition. He has lived and worked across the globe including Australia, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, the US and UK.

Richard has over 25 years experience in the development and commercialisation of a wide-range of new technologies based on novel processes, materials and flexible electronics. Richard has a BSc and PhD in Chemistry from the University of Durham. He is inventor/co-inventor on over 25 patent families. Richard is a non-executive director at the Henry Royce Institute – the UK’s National Institute for advanced materials research.

Rian is a fellow ICAEW Chartered Accountant who trained with Price Waterhouse Coopers and has spent most of his career in high growth, intellectual property driven, deeply technical businesses. He was most recently CFO of McLaren Automotive, the iconic global supercar manufacturer. He has been instrumental in the strategic growth and expansion of multiple companies, which involved raising significant amounts of private equity funding.

Alastair is a sales and marketing executive with over 25 years experience working for global technology companies. Previous roles have included leading Strategic Marketing for NASDAQ listed Amdocs and more recently leading Enterprise Sales in Europe for Carlyle Group company, Syniverse. Alastair holds a PhD in Magnetic Resonance Imaging from the University of Cambridge.

Ken has more than 40 years experience within the semiconductor and electronics manufacturing industries. He brings with him a profound knowledge across all aspects of high-tech manufacturing. Additionally, having successfully run his own engineering and management consulting business since 2008, he has a wealth of operational experience in taking new-start technology companies on to high volume manufacturing.

Catherine Ramsdale

Catherine has over 20 years experience in printed electronics R&D both with Pragmatic (since 2011) and Plastic Logic (from 2002). She has pioneered technologies for semiconductor devices on plastic, including successful transfer to manufacturing. Catherine holds a PhD in organic electronics (Cambridge) and is named inventor on 12 patents.

Kay is a marketing expert with a varied background that includes FMCG, retail, management consulting and global technology companies. She has over 30 years experience leading strategic marketing teams to deliver tangible value in companies including BBC, Skillsoft, Control Risks and Accenture. She was most recently Group Head of Brand and Marketing at QinetiQ, a global FTSE 250 organisation.

Joao is an experienced commercial manager with a strong background in electronic engineering. Previously at XJTAG (part of the Cambridge Technology Group) he led business growth at over 30% annually from 2006 to 2012. Joao has held business development roles at Plastic Logic and Arm. He initiated the business that evolved into the current Secure Segment activity. He is fluent in 5 different languages.

Clare has over 25 years of global HR experience, having led large-scale organisational restructures, volume recruitment projects, cultural change programmes and reward and benefits reviews across a range of sectors. She was most recently Head of HR at Card Factory, and prior to this in senior HR roles at M&S, Morrisons, GE Oil & Gas, Randstad and Cape Industrial Services. Clare is also founder and director of a HR consultancy business, supporting SMEs and larger organisations with bespoke HR projects.

Brian has over 20 years experience in flexible organic electronics. Previously he spent four years in the Holst Centre supporting partners’ innovation roadmaps around flexible OLED displays and other advanced circuits electronics. He co-founded Complex Materials, a company which develops novel materials. Brian holds a PhD in Solid State Electronics from the University of Texas.

She has a wealth of knowledge of delivering strategic roadmaps, marketing materials and product life cycle management across multiple sectors including semiconductors and digital inkjet printing, at companies including Texas Instruments, Dialog, CSR and Xaar.

Neil has over 35 years in process engineering and optimisation, with experience in both electronics manufacturing and optical discs. At Cambridge Display Technology (part of Sumitomo group) he managed the back-end-of-line OLED production, and previously at Plasmon Data Systems he was responsible for developing new media manufacturing processes.
