How can the UK turbocharge its ambition to become a science and technology superpower?
On Tuesday 7th February, we hosted a parliamentary roundtable with senior leaders, thinkers and advocates across the UK science and technology sector, to examine how the UK can turbocharge its ambitions to be a science and technology superpower by 2030.
Chaired by Paul Howell MP, we discussed what’s worked so far, what lessons can be learnt and what approaches we can take to cement the UK’s positions as a science and technology superpower. As a UK-based technology company, Pragmatic wants to play its part in finding the strategies needed to ensure the UK can achieve its ambitions and create an environment for science and technology businesses to thrive.
Informed by the discussions at the roundtable and the findings of the research we released here on the views of UK science and technology leaders, we will be producing a report with recommendations for Government and industry.
