Erik has an extensive background of developing and commercialising technology businesses, with 30 years international experience in private equity and entrepreneurial ventures. He has been an active investor and Chair, or Board Director, in 25 companies, many in complementary sectors to Pragmatic. He brings a strong track record in chairing public companies and raising capital, for example recently leading CMR Surgical Ltd to a valuation of over £1 billion.

Simon has been a Director in the Banking and Investment team at the UK Infrastructure Bank since March 2023, where he specialises in equity investments and clean energy. He joined the Bank from KPMG’s corporate finance team and has over 14 years’ experience investing and advising on a range of alternative asset classes, including at Macquarie Group.

Dave has over 25 years semiconductor leadership experience. Most recently, he was Chief Strategy Officer at Micron Technology, Inc where he had group-wide accountability for a range of corporate functions. Prior to Micron, he spent 6 years at Intel in a number of executive leadership roles, including General Manager Programmable Solutions Group, leading the multi-billion-dollar FPGA and Structured ASIC business. Dave has a BS in Electronic Engineering from University College Dublin and a MS in Electronic Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He has lived and worked in many countries including Malaysia, Vietnam, Ireland, the US and UK.

Murthy brings a wealth of semiconductor knowledge, with over 30 years technology industry experience. This includes, most recently, half a decade at Intel Inc. where he served as Intel’s Chief Engineering Officer and global group president of Intel’s Technology, Manufacturing and Systems Architecture Group. Prior to Intel, Murthy spent over a decade at Qualcomm Inc. as Executive Vice President, Qualcomm Technologies and Co-President, Qualcomm CDMA Technologies. Previous experience spans technology and consumer electronics leadership roles at Skyworks Inc and Philips Electronics.

Niranjan is Global Head of Investments for the M&G Catalyst Fund and is based in London. He joined M&G in April 2018 from Prudential Capital, the principal investment arm of Prudential Plc where he as an Investment Director. Niranjan has successfully executed transactions in diverse sectors such as Life-sciences, Clean Energy, Enterprise SaaS, Fintech/Consumer Credit, Micro Finance, Aircraft Leasing and Music Royalties amongst others.

Rian is a fellow ICAEW Chartered Accountant who trained with Price Waterhouse Coopers and has spent most of his career in high growth, intellectual property driven, deeply technical businesses. He was most recently CFO of McLaren Automotive, the iconic global supercar manufacturer. He has been instrumental in the strategic growth and expansion of multiple companies, which involved raising significant amounts of private equity funding.

Scott is an experienced serial entrepreneur, founding Pragmatic as his sixth technology venture. He was also a co-founder and board director at computer vision-based AI company Cortexica, acquired by Zebra Technologies. Past successes include Azea Networks, which he grew from concept to 8 figure sales levels before acquisition. He has lived and worked across the globe including Australia, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, the US and UK.

Andrew is the Managing Partner at Cambridge Innovation Capital (CIC) and has considerable experience of building technology businesses. Prior to joining CIC, he was at True North Venture Partners in Chicago. Before this Andrew spent ten years leading materials science and semiconductor research in US government research laboratories, followed by managing director positions at venture capital funds Physic Ventures in San Francisco and MalibuIQ in Los Angeles.
